The physical education programme is an integral part of the overall learning at Guildford Primary School. The children develop a wide range of skills and are exposed to a variety of sports such as athletics, badminton, AFL, soccer, hockey, cricket, tennis and tee ball.
The children in Years 1-6 participate in cross country and athletics carnivals, while children in Years 4 – 6 have an opportunity to participate in interschool athletics, cross country, football, netball, soccer and cricket.
Amongst the schools tested by Sports Challenge, Guildford Primary School’s children were in the top ten schools for fitness.
